Just for a catch up, this past year we bought a house, remodeled a house, bought and sold a car, then bought another car, my grandmother passed away, I joined a wonderful church group, Kyle took up golf, I attempted golf, school, school, school....
That was the last year in a nutshell!
Recently my little sister turned 20. That is just crazy to me! She is the sweetest, most precious 20 year old I know! I think we are closer now than we ever were when we were younger. She has always been there for me and I love her so much! She is such and inspiration, such a Godly woman. Her relationship with God is something I think makes her so special. She is actually a reason why I want to nearer to God. I want to have the faith and passion like she does!
She has been sick for a bit lately. She just had a colonoscopy, and endoscopy done. I can't imagine anything ever happening to her. If I could take her pain, I would. The doctor said they took a biopsy of her esophagus, and they are going to check her thyroid for any little hints as to what's going on. Please keep her in your prayers, she is my shining star!
A couple of weeks ago we vacationed with my mom's family to South Padre...Man that place has changed since I last went in 2005. It's crazy to see how the economy, and times can really effect a place! We had a blast, but it wasn't what I remembered. First, I don't remember the ocean being that salty, lol, second I remembered I hate sand!!! It follows you all the way home, gets in unwanted places and it never goes away!! Also, being fair skinned, I didn't bronze like everyone else, I burned like none other. I applied sunscreen like 20 times and hour. Well I burned the first day so my time in the sun for the rest of the week was limited! My shoulders blistered up, literally! I had huge blisters popping up, then the blisters popped! It was miserable!! I also have never had my legs so sunburned!!! I'm still peeling and that was over 2 weeks ago!!
I've decided that I think I'm a mountain person instead of a beach person, but I still had so much fun!!
So I started the HCG diet this past Sunday. It's pretty intense. I take the HCG three times a day and I'm on a strict 500 calorie diet. It seems impossible, and I definitely thought it was when I started, but I love the results! Started Sunday, and as of today (Wednesday) I've lost 8lbs. Hallelujah!! I have been working really hard to stay on top of things and I'm so happy to see results already!! I'm staying on the plan until I reach my 30lb goal. On this diet you lose .5-3lbs a day! So far it's been 3, 3, 2, but these results are the fastest I've ever seen, and it's been so worth it!! I'm hoping it will only take me 2-3 more weeks of this, before I reach my goal! After that I'm on a strict maintenance diet. Well it's really not a diet, it's just portion control and limited sugar. I have to keep it off, I have to be in a wedding in November, so I need to be looking good...lol...
That's That!!
